It has been the goal of this team, from its beginning to be a part of something bigger than our team's work among the Watchi. One of the ways we hope to be a part of God's grander plan is by hosting summer interns each year. In doing so, we help promote the idea of missions and introduce students to West Africa.

Each year we pray that God will send us students that will someday form teams and make it to the field somewhere, but particularly we pray for the French speaking countries of West Africa. God has already answered that prayer several times and we know He will again.

Our prayer is that the interns eyes will be opened by what they see, that their years will be attuned to God's direction, and that their hearts will be filled with a passion for lost souls no matter where they choose to live and work. The mission field is not for everyone, but everyone needs to be involved in God's mission.
